He is currently a resident medical trainee with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. Moreover, his primary area of focus is cardiology, particularly minimally invasive cardiac surgery; with that being said, upon completion of his studies, Omid will be one of handful of interventional cardiologists serving the great citizens of British Columbia.
Graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Political Science major. She then went on to complete a Certificate in Immigration Consulting at the University of British Columbia. She has currently applied for Law School and is awaiting acceptance.
She believes education is a jungle filled with opportunity; where learning experiences can come in any shape or form. Nissy graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, major in history. She is currently at Simon Fraser University completing the last term of a Bachelor of Education Degree to obtain her Teaching Certificate.
Babak’s passion with architecture and building design began as a child playing in the dirt! He earned a Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management from BCIT and is continually pursuing development in the field. With an entrepreneurial spirit, he seeks to pioneer the future of housing technology.
He is student at Simon Fraser University studying political science. He is currently in his 3rd year of study and hopes to complete his Bachelor of Arts degree by January of 2014. His areas of interest include international law, ideology, history, geopolitics, ethnic conflict and political economy. He is a dedicated member of Kurds on Campus who strives to empower others through education.
Graduated from St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, double major in Psychology and Criminology. She is currently a core member of Kurds on Campus and sees Education as her life long lesson.
He is currently a third year student at Simon Fraser University completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree, major in Criminology. He completed his first two years at Douglas College. Upon graduation, Azad’s goal is to attend law school.
His ultimate goal is to work for the Correctional Service of Canada.
